The Veterans Poker Tour will consist of 11 Events, played Between July and May, with a Championship Event played every June. The VPT and it's events are open to any veteran or active duty service member.

Tournament Buy-In is $60.00 per event. Players will start with 10,000 chips and the player friendly structure will have 20 minute levels. Players are allowed only one Re-Buy per event. There will be a $20.00 table add-on for an additional 10,000 chips, bringing your total starting stack to 20,000 with the add-on. You can also pre-register on the Play Poker Chicago website for an additional 1,000 bonus chip. The last change to re-buy is at the end of the first break (about 2 hours from the tournament start). At the first break you may do one final add-on for $20.00 for an additional 10,000 chips.

All player will earn VPT points which will give the players additional bonus chips for the VPT Championship Event held each year in June.
