Bad Beat / Cash Tables
Sometimes Losing is Okay
The hosting Charities and Play Poker Chicago will offer a Bad Beat Jackpot at all of our events at the Hold 'em Cash Tables.
To Qualify for the Bad Beat
You must lose with Aces Full of Queens or better, and:
- Both hole cards from both players must play
- Pot must be a minimum of $30.
- Minimum of 4 players must be dealt into hand
- Applies to the first 5 natural cards on the board only
- Must be playing at a Hold 'em cash table
- Players must play hands independently
- Full rules available at the check-in desk

Current Play Poker Chicago Bad Beat Jackpot
Bad beat jackpot will grow each event, and is funded by a $1. promotional rake on any pot over $10.00 at any cash table. Once the bad beat hits at any event it will not reset until the next event. To be included on the table share the player must have been dealt into the hand. If any player, whether directly or indirectly involved in the hand, passes information or instructs another on how to act or reveals his/her hand to other players, the Bad Beat Jackpot will be disqualified. If any part of the board is ran twice or more, the bad beat only applies to the first 5 natural cards on the board. For additional questions see a floor person at any event.
