The Summer Series of Poker 2025
Play Poker Chicago Summer Series of Poker kicks off June 27 and runs through September 12. This years series will feature 26 different events spread across four months.
Every player will earn 500 bonus chips for each Buy-In or Re-Buy. Players will also earn additional bonus chips by finishing in the top 10 of any of the tournaments.
The summer series will test your poker skill across a wide range of games. This Year we added a "Dealers Choice" tournament where you can pick between 9 different games. Also we have added triple Stud to the SSOP Calendar.
Come on out and test your poker skills and maybe you'll be the Summer Series of Poker Champion for 2025.
How Points are Calculated
Just Enter
Every Buy-In and Re-Buy into one of the Play Poker Chicago's Summer Series of Poker events will earn 500 points that are converted into bonus chips for the Summer Series of Poker Championship in September.
Final Table
Final Table players earn additional points that will be converted to bonus chips.
10th - 1,000 9th - 1,500
8th - 2,000 7th - 2,500
6th - 3,000 5th - 3,500
4th - 4,000 3rd - 4,500
2nd - 5,000 1st - 6,000
Any player can play in the Summer Series of Poker Championship on September 13, 2025 at the Kickoff Pizza & Sports Bar. All players will start with a 10,000 chips and their earned bonus chips. Buy-in for the SSOP Championship will be $80.00 plus add-on of $20.00 for an additional 5,000 chips at Check-In and $20.00 for 10,000 additional chips at the first break. The SSOP Championship will have 18 minute levels.
