Winner will set sail
The winner of the Summer Series of Poker will set sail on a 4 Night Carnival Cruise.
Earn points each event to earn bonus chips for the Summer Series of Poker Championship to be held on September 30, 2023 at the Joliet American Legion. The player crowned champion will set sail on Carnival for a wonderful Bahama cruise.
The more you play the more chips you'll have the the Championship.
How Points are Calculated
Just Enter
Every Player that enters one of the Play Poker Chicago's Summer Series of Poker events will earn 3,000 points that are converet into bouns chips for the Summer Series of Poker Championship in September.
Final Table
Final Table players earn additional points that will be converted to bonus chips.
10th - 1,000 9th - 1,500
8th - 2,000 7th - 2,500
6th - 3,000 5th - 3,500
4th - 4,000 3rd - 5,000
2nd - 6,000 1st - 7,000
Any player can play in the Summer Series of Poker Championship on September 30, 2023 at the Joliet American Legion. All players will start with a 50,000 starting stack and their earned bonus chips. Buy-in for the SSOP Championship will be $200.00 plus add-on of $40.00 for an additional 25,000 chips. SSOP Championship will have 30 minute levels. Your buy-in will be reduced by $5.00 for each SSOP event you play in.
